Hi, first post but avid reader to this forum.

Love playing Fallout 4, 3 & NV, but I'm just wondering about the Nick Valentine companion quest.

I know you have to have him with you, have certain conversations with him and doing things he likes. like being good and hacking terminals. My question is how long till he asks you about the Eddie Winter quest. I've had two "serious" conversations with him and unlocked terminals and done the "Gilded Grasshopper" case file with him which triggered the 2nd convo.

Any info would be great. Cheers.

You need to advance in MQ . I think you can get Eddie Winter quest after completing "Dangerous minds" only.

I believe the 3rd convo.

Yes, I have completed "Dangerous Minds". Was just wondering how long do you have to wait for the actual offer of the quest. I've had two convo's where he has stopped me to talk. Cheers.
