level 5 sneak worth it?

I loaded up my current character and it looks like I've only leveled into each two times. Thanks for the heads up.

They did the same damn thing in Skyrim. In order to advance up the sneak tree, you had to take the same floor trap perk. I had to give in, to my own frustration, because I wanted the fourth level ability so I wouldn't have to be in constant [CAUTION] mode with every step I took.

I thought that was the point of sneak to have the ability not to set off floor traps :|

No it is not a no-brainer. If you found a few of the magazines in the game that helps stealth along with the bobblehead, you don't really need all ranks in sneak. It is about finding the sweet spot for what you need and fits your playstyle, not just blowing points here and there

I didn't know about this glitch and ended up getting them in the order that gives a 5.4x sneak attack bonus. I had to use the console to remove all of them and add them back. It was a pain, but I've got a 6.3x sneak attack bonus now.

I use for this and shoot first in an enemy of my choice , obviously the strongest. After that everyone is alerted , I do not like guns with silencers.

That's me too, I really don't like that it renders the traps completely obsolete, I would have prefered if it "high lighted" them maybe, like it does with components. Although that seem to be more tied in with perception.

I also don't level up sneak too much on regular characters because it makes the whole thing super easy.

I love not setting off traps, mostly because dogmeat charges into them and the perk fixes that.

Sneak 5 is not really worth it, if only because once you get a silent weapon and good sneak attack multipliers, most enemies will not be a problem.
