Next level power generation with DLC2

Post » Fri Feb 19, 2016 6:06 am

If you look at the promo screenshot for Wasteland Workshop you can see a standard-pre-war fusion generator on top of the building in the background. Also, the building seems to be made out of cement.

I wonder what new furniture this dlc has to offer.

BTW,i think that the promo for this DLC was a bit wierd. At the beginning I thought it was just an arena addon, but judging by the title and the images it seems to be a complete settlement revamp.

It'll be nice if I can put all those Fusion Cores to use. Right now they are kinda useless since I don't use PA :/

But generally, I hope that I can build bunkers, neater Sanctuary houses and Institute stuff. Yes, I have a mod for that but... it's kinda crowded.

I want some Institute themed stuff. Having a nice, large, clean settlement is my goal for this game.

Wasteland Workshop is definitely adding a ton of new settlement content, but the new, uh... "creature comforts" are the biggest "new" feature I think. Fusion generators and concrete building prefabs all sound much more appealing to me, though, tbh. And nixie tube lights!

Well Bethesda have clearly been listening to it's fans on the forum about what they wanted with DLC so should be a safe bet less shanty town content is going to appear.

Can't wait to build a big arena at starlight drive-in assign a couple of settler at taking bets and getting my cut of the profit.

Please Todd let me do that.

Imagine more and more pople showing up,depending on what kind of creatures you captured.Just think of the crowds piling up to see your deathclaw pack tearing captured riders to pieces.

The only ones I would ever subject to a battle pit are captured Gunners.

I hate Gunners.

With the healthy supply of nuka grenades they have, you might wanna rethink that or at least build you spectator stands very far away from the blast radius. :dead:

Could be the other way around for the fusion core generators. Perhaps you can use it to charge up spent fusion cores. Of course that would mean they'd have to update fusion cores so they go to you inventory once they have emptied. In the screenshot it doesn't look like there is a fusion core in the generator, assume what you want.

The Wasteland Workshop also includes a suite of new design options for your settlements like nixie tube lighting, letter kits, taxidermy and more!
