Wasteland Workshop

I was looking at the picture, and once you get past the deathclaw cage there seem to be a lot of new building pieces.

Curved concrete walls

Flat concrete walls with framed door openings

Concrete walls with chainlink fencing

metal railings

mesh flooring

concrete roof

A Very Large Generator

Traffic Signals

Light bulb strings

what looks to be a street light

placeable trash can fires

something that looks like a heater...

I would assume that if this stuff is in the picture, then it will become part of the workshop stuff. If so, can't wait!

I'm hoping that stuff that's already in the game becomes craftable. Stuff like ammo box, medic box, chainlink fencing and wooden crates.

Don't have access to those. Might never. So, hoping for the DLC to add more pieces.

It looks like they've given concrete materials their own prefab kit completely. And it looks nice - I was never happy with the look of multi-story structures using the wood or metal kits, and concrete seems to have the advantage of looking less "scrappy" without looking out of place. And having things like nixie tube lights or neon letter kits is going to be awesome. Between Wasteland Workshop and Automatron, I've got some new plans for my settlements.

The Institute tile-set is pretty boring though. All you can build with it is boxes, nothing else.

I wouldn't put to much stock in that. The blummin intro screen shows a gun rack that is no where to be found. Well it can be found just unusable as one...

I wonder if it will let you craft death traps for defense and your arenas. Would be a pretty interesting concept, tripwires are even in the game right now.

Traffic signals? What would those even be needed for for building up your settlements?

If Bethesda Game Studios is going to add asphalt and concrete to fix up roads and maybe drive cars?

Because other than that I don't see the point of letting you craft traffic signals to place in your Player Characters (PC's) settlements.

Ok I inspected the picture more, maybe the traffic light is to have for when the cage opens and lets the NPC's fight each other.

Red for door closed and green for door to open.
