Mod to rebuild the ruined house between Ft Greymoor & WR

Post » Fri Feb 19, 2016 8:57 am

I'm asking about that small ruined house with the chest under the floorboards that sits between Fort Greymoor and Whiterun. Is there a mod to rebuild it or as a second option maybe just a mod that replaces it with something that can be made into a player home?

Thanks,

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71553/? (build your own wagon, then have the house turned into a small home),and http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61028/? (that's a player owned store).

You know, if I knew how to mod then I would probably rebuild that house into a fitting player home for the Thane of Whiterun. Perhaps the player could rebuilt it in the same way the player built the Lakeview Manor not far from Falkreth.

Sure, Breezehome in Whiterun may sound nice, but when I bought it with all the furniture the first time I was disappointed by Bethesda's design of how Breezehome looked like inside.

I consider Breezehome to be the worse player home in Skyrim and one reason I think most people would agree to is that the player need to choose between an alchemy room or a bedroom for the adopted children if you have Heartfire installed.

If that weren't enough the entire interior in Breezehome between vanilla Skyrim and Heartfire was completely changed. Heartfire had the best interior design for Breezehome IMO.

That's why there are numerous mods for Breezehome. Of course, there are those of us who wouldn't do the whole adoption thing if someone stuck burning wood slivers under our fingernails....

Ha, I was just googling to find the drunken dragon (couldn't remember the name) and then I realized you had already posted it after I saw what it was called.

Thanks! Originally I was looking for a home in that spot for a character who wanted to be near a town but did not want to go into it often. But this will work for all of my characters, I've always hated running around to a dozen different vendors to sell everything so this is perfect.

I have a whole FLOCK of toons (yeah, altoholic is my "real" name.... no matter the game). So I have a Khajiit who does Khajiit HF for obvious reasons; then I have a couple of not-cat toons who use the wagon and the restored house as a base for adventures. Then I have a couple of toons who use the Drunken Dragon.

And... then I discovered http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63620/? - live where you want, own properties that provide income....
