I have been trying to enter sanctuary my main base that contains almost everything i have aquired in game as well as my power suits and companions.. i have been unable to enter via fast travel or walking in.. i believe its a loading issue as upon getting within the borders if i open workshop or scope in it backs out of the game.. furthermore many save dont load if used to fast travel to sanctuary or red rocket gas station.. though i can walk in the gas station and save there.. is there any way to fix this.. i have tried..

Power cycling

Uninstalling

Running the game offline prior to and after reinstalling

Loading older saves even saves in sanctuary

Running the game with and without updates

Fast traveling to other settlements(works) and then to sanctuary(doesnt work)

Waiting in game for several days to a week... this did fix the pipboy showing 40 people at sanctuary when i have 23 there..

Did you use a glitch to overcome the building cap for sanctuary.

Not that i am aware of.. the only glitch i have used is the duplication one with dogmeat.. even that one was only with ammo and the magazine..

What happens with an older game save or with a new character for testing purposes.

edit. I just saw that you tried an older game save. Still try a new character.

I have a feeling that the game save might be corrupt.

I just looked it up.. i may have done it on accident since i wasnt aware of how to do much in the game initially(its my 1st fallout game) and would drop things and store them in the workshop.. until i needed to break down clusters of things including armor and weapons.. though im not sure i did it how the video showed but its possible since i have made the mistake of storing rather than deconstructing..
