Post » Sun Feb 21, 2016 12:18 am

what Akul said ..

For beta testing u need a wide variety of stuff .. different cpu's , gpu's is the most important .

also , how game runs , with mods and with out . how the game responds when new material added . is this or that added and game is functioning correctly as intended .

Is a lot of stuff to look at .. .. is it playable all the way thru and functioning as intended ..

basicly beta is intended to find the cracks in the game .

mostly need players that will play the game ALOT

How do you sign up for the DLC beta?

I have Fallout 4 on XB1. I have played to level 91 on my main and the repeatable quest have died out. The new patched shut down Preston and I don't get any quest from Preston now. This toon aligned with the institute, and they have 5 repeatable quest, but of those the Pest Control quest is broken and won't spawn the feral mobs needed. As there are Feral mobs that I killed when I first went there and they always respawn. This leaves me with just 4 repeatable quest after the main story arch. And then the institute quest are on a 24 respawn. Which is just annoying. I want to level my first ever Fallout character to get all the perks. And that is like 244 levels. I also have 3 others that I played to experience each faction ending, but they are all probably done at level 50.

I just heard the announcement about the new DLC and play this game so much I knew I wanted it. Especially with Bethesda's history with doing DLC for games like this and Elder Scrolls. I heard it is only 30 bucks until March 1st so that was a no brainer. Especially since the only thing that stopped me from ordering the Season Pass was waiting for concrete DLC announcements. I just bought the DLC.

So I don't want to wait until May to get new quests and the Beta DLC sounds perfect. The only problem is I just joined the forums today and I don't know how to sign up for the DLC beta. I plan to play to level 244 anyways. So this is a great situation for both. Bethesda needs testers. I need to play :wink_smile:.

Sign-up info us on bethesda.net, at the bottom of the DLC announcement article. There'll be a link.

So, they'll give us an email if we're *not* selected for the beta, right? It's no big deal, but rejection is better than limbo. :P

Bethesda might over a store credit for a Bethesda product or something.

@Akul, and Box Maaan...

Thanks for your help.

I left here and did a search online. A guy had a youtube post. Then I noticed you just had to click a link (best Idiot Savant impression).

Just as I was done signing up, I got a message about your reply's.

Thank you so much for your quick and timely help :wink_smile:.

Getting to play it while hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of other players have to wait until release date is a "freebie", whether you bought the Season Pass or not.
