Just visited the Global Achievement stats on Steam and I noticed new achievements, obviously related to Assaultron!

The new Achievements are (and my guesses for what they mean):

Robot Hunter - probably related to hunting for parts

The Most Toys - probably related to having several robots

Headhunting - probably quest achievement where you kill a Robobrain or just an achievement where you use his brain to make yours

Mechanical Menace - something about beating an Eyebot... probably quest-related

Restoring Order - definitely the quest achievement where you defeat/pacify the Mechanist

Huh, you're right, and the artwork is telling. Looks like there is a storyline, however short, and it does involve the Mechanist. I'm glad I was wrong.

I remember a topic before FO4 was released where a few of us were discussing how cool it'd be if we could build and customize our own robots and fight them in a sort of robat wars arena. Fingers crossed!

Glad it looks like there is a questline. I thought there would be at the $10 pricepoint. I'm excited

Anyway, in a similar tread it was suggested that this might mean the DLC will be out soon.

Just to remind the folks: the Beta testers will get the full DLC, together with achievements (as said on the official site). So unfortunately, it doesn't mean that the DLC will soon be released, but only that the beta testing should start soon.

Or maybe we'll actually get to use NPC brains to make robobrains?

Here's hoping.
