Access to settlers in workshop mode

Post » Sun Feb 21, 2016 12:05 am

The ability to dress, arm, and manage settler's jobs in a menu in the workshop mode is sorely needed. It's a pain to micro manage each settler in each settlement using the current system and I feel this would clean that process up significantly. Let me know if there is anything else settlement related that you would like to see in workshop mode.

The Idea itself isnt bad at all but then they need a kind of unique random generated ID/Name or something. The current System makes them really impersonal. Some People say those Settlements already are a kind of Cities but they are just some Settlements with NPC's Clones.

Naming would be nice, but I'd be fine with numbers. It would be easier than remembering faces.

That made me laugh :-). The system wouldn't be perfect, but it'd beat searching each one down. I'll take missing settler #3 over the one hiding in the mutfruit patches any day. Ideally each workshop would only give access to that settlement.

My child wants to know why I'm laughing.

*wipes coffee off monitor*

I was a little surprised it wasn't done like Fallout Shelter, actually - but yeah, you have to remember which settler is which, so in that sense it's probably easier to click on them.
