I made a face I like!

Haha just couldn't get my other play through to have a normal looking face. I noticed I had a save before the "are you sure" part in the vault so was able to change the presets again and get something amazing.

Good thing I enjoy starting over and doing different things :D

Anyone else have trouble playing a guy/gal that you cant seem to get the face right? It bugged me all the way to castle with multiple surgery center visits.

I spend way too much time on the faces. Generally it never mattered much in a TES or FO game anyway since you seldom saw your characters face, but now with all the voiced dialog scenes you have more incentive to make the face just right.

Generally I'll use other people's faces and tweek them. Like get a save game file from Nexus or something, but everyone there uses mods and it's really hard to find a good looking save game file that isn't modded. I do plan on using mods eventually, but not until after the official modding tools are released. I also like to use other's step by step instructions on how to make a character (with some tweeks) but this games PC is way to random with the face sculpting feature. It's hard to put that down into numbers and such.

I hadn't looked into "how to" videos, maybe I will. Might help me not go insane making a face.

Yeah, I spent fully half a day at the start just making my face, another few hours before leaving the vault, and countless times either at the surgery or via console making minor tweaks.

Now I'm level 40 I think I've finally got to what I'd wanted or near as I'm going to get. I still change hairstyle a lot, but that's mostly to fit the outfit as I upgrade to different armors or find new clothes.
