I just did perceive 100 posts hit on my counter, as far as I remember I always used this forum to share my negative opinions against Fallout 4. Have gained a lot of - deserved and undeserved - criticism from responders, but most of these conversations was an opinion-vs-opinion thing and when being on Bethesda's forum it is pretty clear that my opinion will be minority here. And it is, so my loud temperament wants more and more fighting. Kinda off-topic, anyway.


I want YOU, dear Bethesda fans to explain ME what makes Fallout 4 a good FALLOUT GAME in your eyes. Why you think it is a good RPG, with great quests and rich dialogues. Please dont use mods as your argument.


I am asking because I cant enjoy Fallout 4 since its very beginning and I really want to enjoy it anyway, because Fallout is my favourite franchise (that is probably why I am so mad about F3, F4 and Bethesda, in other case - I wouldnt care).


I will just point out my favourite Fallout games are Fallout 2 and New Vegas.

For me a great deal of enjoyment comes simply from exploring and discovery. I love wandering and basically just messing about.. quests/missions/plot sort of takes a back seat for me in these types of sandbox - go anywhere games. The thing I found most interesting is the underlying plots between the "evil" factions. There's a lot of story there that basically gets no play and has no quests.. it's just there for discovery. It adds a depth that I wish I could explore more and get involved in. .. Unfortunately it sort of comes out as feeling like cut content...interesting nonetheless.

I think these are the responses this thread is going to get, so I'm closing it now.


If you dislike a videogame, that's okay. Find games you do enjoy and promote and support those. Constructive criticism is fine here, but we don't need a thread that's just looking for a fight.
