So I took on the quest for Paul Pembroke and ended up scaring Cooke into agreeing to leave Diamond City but of course after I help him take care of some loose ends. So I did. I killed everyone at the drug deal including Trish after telling her the lab wasn't so secure. I'd already hit it days ago.

Anyway

Of course now the aftermath begins. I get cornered in DC by Nelson Latimer's father. He demands to know what happened and did I kill his son. Well my character is the brutally honest type and could care less who wants to kill her so she tells him "Yeah I did it."

He of course how has hired goons after me. I'm fine with this aside from one key issue. They attack me in Diamond City. Usually in the market and that means a lot of people. I shot one in the face and my bullet passed through him and hit a DC guard. This put the whole town on high hostility towards me. So I quickly reloaded right before the encounter and this time managed to kill the three triggermen without hitting anyone else.

My question is if I kill father Latimer, will the assassination attempts stop? I'm about to slaughter Skinny Malone and his crew. So that might mean less men for Latimer to hire? Or should I take care of Marowski too?

And I have yet to meet Colette. But Pembroke seems to have the impression I killed Cooke which I did not.

I have a feeling this might be the most complicated play through of this quest I have taken lol. Because I think I'll probably end this with Paul Pembroke, Latimer and Marowski dead.

I've done that quests a few times and it seems each time it feels screwed up in some way. Too many moving parts I guess. Generally I tell the old man that I killed his son but feel bad about it and he ends up just blaming his son for making bad choices and leaves you alone. But Cooke says he's leaving, but others say he's still around. I've yet to see Colette yet either but I know she's supposed to show up sometime.

well I told old man Latimer I killed his son and he sent goons on me. On a previous play through I lied to him and he hired me to kill Marowski. The only person I ever had accept the fate of a loved one was Colette. She knew her dad's lifestyle was going to catch up with him one day.

Oh well I will play this out and see how it goes heh.
