After I completed the Cambridge Polymer Labs quest, I looked in my pip-boy and it said that I failed to complete the research project instead of being checked off. Did anyone fail too? It's probably a bug but is there a way to avoid failing it?

Yes, you can complete it? Did you complete it? You need to anolyze the sylinders and insert the correct ones to complete it. If you just open the emergency door and escape i think it will fail.

Yes. Happened to me too. I believe it`s a bug.

If the correct ingredients are not placed in the proper order then the quest will fail on that particular step.

I executed the director durig exploring but still passed the quest later on, twas funny being taken to see him at the end lol

I`ve tried to place them in different order. Changing the order did not make any difference for me, still got the armor , but "reasearch" failed. Placing wrong components does not lead to fail, just you can`t finish the quest until you place the proper ones.

And the quest does not fail, only one task fails, but the quest is completed in general.

I "completed" this quest and received a piece of armor. So i assumed I completed the project, used the correct ingredients yet the task objective still ticked as failed. Must be a bug.
