Ive seen the ''Better Settlers'' mod, but it has loads of extra features i dont really want. I'm wondering if there are any simple settler mods that just adds more variety to settlers facial wise so they all look more different. I'd be very grateful if anybody could point me in the right direction.

Better Settlers is probably your best bet - with the 'all-in-one' version you actually get to choose which options you want. I'm like you, I just wanted to change the faces up. So I opted out of all the new features and just selected the 'light' spawning version, which means they only spawn with vanilla clothing items instead of the armours etc.

Now I have lots of new settlers, but none of the other features. Goes good.

It says on the description

1. Generic Settlers are slightly stronger.


2. They have perks that help them with radiation and healing if they survive battle (important for the Mortal patch).

Can i opt out of those features?

Ahh, possibly not - sorry I'm at work right now otherwise I'd check (can't really remember what I did and did not push to be honest, other than opting out of them becoming mortal / spawning with armour and weapons etc).

There's also a mod called The New Settlers which just adds around 20 new ones of each gender I believe.
