Creating an esp to remove certain spawn points from Requiem

I love Requiem for Skyrim, but there are some certain things I wish to remove, in this case OP overworld monsters. I wish to create a separate esp that uses Requiem as a master, however whenever I delete the spawnpoints for the monsters, or any other object added by requiem using the del button to remove their box, requiem immediately gets removed as a master file, and the deletion of the objects wont get saved to the active file. The same is what happends in reverse, if I first remove the objects end then ad requiem as an esm master the spawnpoints are back. I tried using alternative methods by scripting to solve the issue but I was no good at it. If anyone could give me any help as to solve this it would be great.

How is Requiem made? Is it an esp, an esm, both? If it's only an esp, just load it in the CK, remove what you want to remove, save and that's it.
