Hey all. I'm running skyrim on a duo core 2.9,

GeForce 8800 gts 512mg graphics card, and 3 gigs of ram. I have no mods downloaded and I have not downloaded the official improved graphics package.

I can run the game pretty smoothly on medium, but once I go to high it definitely lags a bit. Sometimes not much At all, but once and awhile it'll start getting choppy with movement, attacks, etc.


Am I better off improving my RAM up to two sticks of 4gig, or would I be better off going for a new graphics card? I have a fairly limited budget, and I can't just go out and drop 200 bucks on a new graphics card. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
