Ok I have a basic question:


What happens if I kill the entire brotherhood (leader all troops at airport and other named npcs) before the institute quest to do so?

Do they respawn for the mission or is it literally just a stroll through some hallways to hack the robot?

You put this in the wrong subforum.

Anyway, the quest will probably generate some unnamed BoS Knights. Still, the lack of named characters would make the battle easier... and more boring.

Doesn't matter if you kill them, you will still have to face generic brotherhood troops if not the named npcs. Same thing happens if you preemptively kill everyone in the railroad base. Any quest later to take them out, you still have to go there and kill generic railroad agents, even though you already wiped their base out.
