So it seems I have lost the ability to assign settlers to any task after 1.03

The settler will respond with dialogue, but there is not confirmation and the

Task remains unclear-assigned.


Can't assign guards, farmers, beds... Nothing.

Me too. Same problem. I'm not sure about the time being after 1.03 but I'm in New Zealand and my time is different so I cannot assign settlers. Period!

Like you, Tags, the settler will confirm but does nothing. And between 20-60 mins later I'll get the written confirmation. But it doesn't happen! I've gone back to the settlement to find the settler I've given a Missile Launcher too and assigned to a strategic guard post still 'Unassigned' and standing about like an idiot, while one woman will be merrily 'guarding' four guard posts.

Since this latest patch my game is broken. Actually I have no idea why I'm still playing it because it makes me constantly angry! BETHESDA, what have you done!?!?!

O bethesda , glitched as a 3 legged goat , lvl 4 merchants are so glitched , and u mr todd howared advertised the fact of merchents traders will just turn up , and have the best items of the game . Lol ,


If they don't turn up ! u can't assaign them , they can't sell , can't sell , so u can't get the best items of the game ......


How long has it been since the 10 11 2015 ? And still they don't work as clearly pointed out by mr Todd howared !

Hmm, i assigned a settler a couple ours ago, on a farm. But it works fine.

Maybe it's related to some specific locations?
