I have equiped my companion (e.g. - Curie in 3rd Gen Synth form) with a legendary synth armor right arm piece with the chameleon enhancement. I have one on my avatar as well and it works fine. Her's never switches on though. Are legendary armor effects intentionally disabled for companions? I expected that they would work the same way for anyone that was capable of equipping them. Is this a know bug or "by design feature?" If it is by design why?

The chameleon effect works on the chameleon combat armor I have on Piper, however lately she never seems to stop moving so it activates rarely now. Other effects work as well, so if they aren't activating for you there's a problem.
