My name is Michael. I live in Finland, and I am new to this forum. I have some serious problems with Fallout 4, and I am hoping that someome can help me.

I play on PlayStation 4, and Fallout 4 is the first game in this genre I have tried. Since it was the first for me I didn't really think I would spend so many hours with it, but it was a lot more fun than I thought, and I am now on level 62.

My character is with the Minutemen, and I defeated the Institute with both Railroad and Brotherhood of Steel as friendly, which I rather liked. But recently while playing I have encountered some things I do not like.

I was not sure what would happen with Sanctuary, so I placed mines and built some machinegun turrets here and there. Nothing happend for a long time, but one day when I was standing talking with someone, the turrets opened fire, and the villagers (not sure what to call them) went mad. Turns out it was only a bloatfly they attacked, but it felt strange that it would be such a reaction. After that nothing.

After discovering the Yangtze and assisting the captain with starting the submarine, I fast-travelled back to Sanctuary. When the game loads there is a huge explosion, and Trashcan Carla is lying dead in front of me. The villagers start chasing her brahmin to kill it. Directly after this, Preston Garvey is my enemy. I go back in saves to when I have exited the Yangtze, and I travel to the Red Rocket station close to Sanctuary. When I am close to the bridge I see and hear a large explosion, and Carla again. This time not dead, but she is sitting on the ground and looks at me when I approach her. She stands up and walks away, and a few seconds later a second explosion. Once again, I find her on the ground, and the villagers attack. Preston is an enemy again.

Thinking it might go over, I go to the bed and sleep. When I wake up he is still my enemy, and now Cait gets really weird. She goes into a power armour, and says something about it being good or different (can't remember) and she attacks Preston.

After this, I decided the game was finished, I ejected the disc and have not played since. Was about two weeks ago.

So berore all this everything was fine, the mines harmed noone, and I thought it was so that they only react when enemies are nearby, so I placed them wherever I thought it was good to have them. Was this wrong of me?

Also, PAM gave me a mission to eliminate a Brotherhood patrol. My character mentions she has already killed so many, which she has not. In one forum it was mentioned that I can do the mission, the Brotherhood will still be friendly. This was incorrect, so I went back to an earlier save.

What am I going to do now? I want to be a friend of Preston Garvey and the Minutemen, and I have no interest in seeing Carla dead.

You find your decisions are the isue U are having , you can't be friends with everyone in the game depending on how you do the story side of it, the story isn't all the game by the way ! It's only 45% of the game maybe less when the Dlcs come out , but the story will decide who likes u or dose not like you,

Simple

The only thing I can suggest is attempting to disarm the mines you placed, so they don't explode and kill Carla. If that won't work, then there is nothing you can really do unless you have a save from before you planted the mines.
