I lived in Annandale, Andale from Fallout 3, and there was nothing left of it except an overpass. Current residence is between DC and Pittsburgh so maybe something like the Pitt.

I remember reading that besides the US and China duking it out, all the other smaller countries had squabbles with each other to the extent that when the 2 big hitters let loose all the other countries let loose all their anger and frustration on their enemies and rivals. In fallout lore there isn't a single country totally safe. Maybe some remote islands where people still live primitve/ are cannibals would not get bombed, but the radioactive sea might get to them, especially not knowing about radiation.
