Is the mojave too desolate?

Because of the non poluted river, wouldn't a mod be in order that makes the area more green instead of desert like? What do you guys think... Am i totally wrong in my reasoning?

The degree of vegetation is quite adequate, and similar to that you find in today's Mojave and proximity of the Colorado in Nevada. The area is not a Wasteland for nonsensical super-radioactivity, but because it was a desert even before The War.

Yeah. The part of the Colorado river in NV is in actuality mostly desert. It only really gets green when it gets up into Colorado itself.

Pretty much what the last two said. If you want green, I think there's a Green World NV version. I've seen it some where on the nexus.

Well, it was a desert before the way and nuclear holocausts aren't exactly popular fertilizers. I see your point, but the clean water was there before, and it was still a desert.

EDIT: I am pretty sure there's a greenworld mod for NV.

there is a green grass mod that changes some of the grass textures to a light green shade. i use it to break up the monotony.

It's really too bad, too. The green mods for Fallout 3 made it SO much more enjoyable, but yeah it just wouldn't make any sense in FNV.

If he wants trees, fine, but we were talking about the fact that the OP said there should be trees, when in reality, there wouldn't.

Personally I like trees to and will probably use such a mod eventually.
