As long as you're nice, most humans will leave you alone if you're a Super Mutant. Maybe don't decorate your place with large nets of meat. Learn to make a large sewing machine so you could make yourself better clothes. Make a nice settlement, surely someone as strong as a Super Mutant can clean up debris a lot better than a human.

If they're stupid, then they aren't Super Mutants - they're just Mutants. Becoming a Super Mutant boosts your natural intelligence. It's one of the major plot points of Fallout 1.

Technically, we're all pre-war humans here... so our DNA is pure, and that makes the FEV work better on us. Or at least the Mariposa strain, right?
