After the last beta patch update whenever I use a workbench (using the E key) or try and activate one for the first time, fallout crashes.

I can use weapons and armor benches, but not the settlement crafting station. This was working just two days ago.

I started the game directly through steam so no mods would be loaded and it still occurred.

I just took several steps just a week or two ago to fix a CTD caused by another beta patch and don't want to go through all that again.

Also, if I reset back to the last official patch, it wont let me load any of the games because they were saved with a newer version.

Are the beta patches not always stable when they are pushed onto steam? I had Zero issues before I decided to start the beta program and now i have them one a week.

This constant CTD after a patch really spoils the game and is slowly making me not want to play it at all. Am I the only one seeing this?

Steps to reproduce:

1. start a new game

2. go to Sanctuary and head to the settlement workbench

3. press "E" to activate the workbench

4. Watch the mushroom clouds...BOOOM!!!
