Greentop Nursery question

Post » Sun Feb 28, 2016 6:45 am

In the main house of Greentop Nursery i have sofas/tables/chairs/counter/stools in the main living room. The problem is though, at night nobody seems to use them. All the settlers just stand still inside the greenhouse and wait until bedtime. Anybody else notice this/have this problem?

I'm not sure if its related to the bug i mentioned in this bug thread http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1544248-bug-report-index-pc/page-36

Also if anybody else has noticed this bug with settlers teleporting in and out of the back room, please confirm it by replying to my post in that thread posted above.

Build a bar and place some chairs near it.

i have all the settlements developed.

At a couple of settlements in my game the settlers behave a little differently to the norm.

At Greentop the unusual behaviour is musical chairs..

Normally, assigned settlers stay at their post during their working hours but in my game at Greentop they regularly go and sit down in the provided chairs throughout the day.

Even the ones on defence duty have a little rest in the chairs during the night.

Anyway usual behaviour is that settlers work, then when they knock off they frequent the restaurants.

They stand around them or sit in nearby chairs. The settlers assigned to man the restaurants remain at their post while the other settlers mill around, look at menus, eat noodle cups, and drink from their cups.

Then everyone who isn't a guard or provisioner goes to bed.

In the morning they usually get up and head for the bars/restaurant again before they commence work.

After 8.00pm at Greentop in my game.

Currently there are 25 settlers so i have put a few beds in the greenhouse as well as some beds in the existing home.

Pretty annoying that you need bars just to get life into them. I dont like building loads of bars so ill guess ill just leave it.

Any chance you notice the settlers have to teleport in and out of the back room of the main house at Greentop Nursery?

My Greentop Nursery settlers are all dead and I revamped the house to be my own nice home.

But so far I remember, I think they did have problem finding path. Although settlers standing around like statues often seen around settlement.

One of the more realistic aspects of the game in my opinion. B)

Yeah i did the house up as well.

The path finding problem is the back room. They can't fit through the space to enter the back room so they walk up to it, stand still and then they teleport in. Same for exiting the room.

Thing is though at Greentop nursery I have a kitchen counter with stools. Kitchen table with 4 chairs. A long sofa with a coffee table in front of it, a small sofa chair just to the side, and a chair next to the radio. All this is in the 1 big room. Hows it realistic that they don't make use of any of it?

They want booze. Who wants to sit on a couch and stare at a wall? After a long day farming or whatever, then it's Miller time, or I should say it's Gwennet time.

After cleaning out the main house of all junk/stuff and putting in beds with the left side easy for settlers to get to I have never had any problems there.

If you have beds in the back room of the main house, keep an eye on the settlers heading towards that room. Once they get to the entrance of the back room they do a little teleport to get inside the room, and the same to get out.
