i keep seeing methods that involve going to different places with easy to steal things, that is not needed, simply go to the atom cats garage, find the power armor in the back corner, have a fusion core and just simply add core then steal it back, quicksave, load and repeat, do make sure you're hidden when you do the process, one of the atom cats makes a round that comes close enough to see you every now and then
