Uninstalling doesn't fix anything :

Post » Wed Mar 02, 2016 1:26 am

Hi all,

I have a small problem with my NPCs :/ ..

I wanted to custom my characters and make them look better.

So I installed UNP body, real girls realistic body textures, apachi skyhair, then bella's face pack...

And then, I had a huge horible neck seam on my femals and males characters :x

-So I tried to uninstall bella's face pack, it didn't fixed the problem.

-So I tried to install an other mod, it didn't work.

-So I tried all the kind of texture blenders, nothing fixed.

-So I tried to uninstall ALL my mods, it didn't work.

-So I tried to uninstall Skyrim and all the files related to it, but nothing worked.

-So I tried some softwares that were suposed to make Skyrim vanilla again, it didn't work.

-So I tried to install Skyrim on an other computeur, and take all the files of the other computer in my computer but it didn't fixes the problem.

I tried everything, I unstalled everything even all my saves, I have lost everything and I still have those neck seams on NPCs (both femals and males).

Did someone experienced the same problem and did you suceed in fixing it please ?

If someone could help me, it would be wonderfull please <3

You should ask to move to the MOD's forum...

but if those are the only mod's you have... you should probably get

1. the Unoffical patches. ( depending on the DLC's you have *USLEEP if Legendary version)

2. SKYUI

3 SKSE

4. LOOT

5 Racemenu

The male neck seam... that is very odd as mod's you named are female only as far as I know. Neck seam's are somewhat normal and you do have to work at not having them.. it depends on your set-up... any ENB's are going to make them worse and you need to take that into account on setup. Just remember not all body and face textures are compatible and require a lot of work to get them to "blend"...

Removing all files and still having artifact's... that is an issue... and also one that is over my pay-grade.

hello Maxime3D :wavey:

try this link http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again

its part of the S.T.E.P project .............this one uses this every time to get a clean game ..........it works, the down side is be prepared or a 2.5GB download to replace everything you have deleted

also on S.T.E.P .............there are Mod recommendations & most important the best install options & settings to use for each Mod to achieve maximum efficiency

Yep, I used that and it worked perfectly. I had around 120 something different mods, some installed by Bain, others by NMM, some manually, and a few by Mod Organizer and the S.T.E.P. guide was a whole lot easier and faster than trying to find everything to delete then reinstall.

I tried the unoficial patches for the legendary edition, it did not work :x

Then I followed all the STEP guide without succes. :(

I just installed UNP body then and I still have this neck seam (I wanted to post a screenshot but I don't have the autorization).

This is pretty anoying because I can't understand how a bug can remane after uninstalling the entire game... :/

#1 it's probably not a bug... or glitch. not all body meshes are compatible with all face textures. An ENB will often cause a neck seam to appear when there wasn't one before.

I'm not an expert by any means, but what face texture are you using? UNP body is just that... a body.

* I looked for "Bella's face pack" and all I come up with is http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2812/? which is a replacer for vanilla NPC's, not the player character. Granted I didn't do a really extensive search.

So of what you have listed above... there are no face model's or textures that the player's character would use. Vanilla face is being used then.

Again, I would ask a moderator to move this to the mod section, just make sure you also post a full listing of all the mod's you are using. If you don't want to move the post... a full listing of the mod's would still be of real help. Use a spoiler tag it's in the little blue whte box at the top of the reply screen... or type [spoiler ] your mod list [ /spoiler] with no spaces inside the [ ]'s

btw you can't post a link because you don't have enough post's.
