Loot Mods

Hello,

I decided to start another game of Skyrim and was wondering what loot overhauls and enhancements people would recommend. I used to use Dynamic Loot, but that's no longer available.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Dynamic Loot has been replaced with World's Dawn, that's all.

Frankly, even with loot mods, I still find the lack of proper rewards for magic- and ranged-focused characters to be the Achille's Heel of Skyrim and why it pales in comparison to Morrowind or Oblivion. The world environment is fantastic, but there are no proper rewards for such characters as BGS' bias against them has grown more apparent with each game they release. They need to stop being so biased against anything other than melee-warrior types as that has no appeal for many people, probably most people (based on the simple breakdown of base variety of types: melee-warrior, ranged-stealth, ranged-mage/energy). It's particularly blatant when the world lore indicates that such types are fairly common and extremely powerful but the actual gameplay doesn't show this.

Anyway, you may also want to look into the SkyProc Lootification in addition to any other loot mods you use.

For myself, I don't care about lots of weapons and find that such mods simply add quantity of clutter rather than anything useful for my characters. There is very little offered for mage- and ranged-focused characters.

One other mod you might like is one that extends jewelry to other materials. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8361/? is one example to consider. I haven't tested it yet because I found out about it well after I started my current play session, but I'll certainly add it in the future.
