I can't seem to change my version from the Beta to the full version in my Steam library, verifying cache does nothing and the Beta option in Properties has gone. That's how I did it last time, I just deselected it in Properties but I can't do that this time

Ignore it. It's an issue with Steam where it doesn't update the games name in the list when the beta ends and the patch goes live. Everything will work as it should otherwise.

You can fix this actually:

close (quit) steam

open the file .\Steam\steamapps\appmanifest_377160.acf with a notepad

delete the line (should be line 20)

"betakey" "beta"

save the file

restart steam

done!

Wait.. can you make it say other goofy stuff instead? Like "Fallout 4 [Cheese sticks]" ?

Better to open with Wordpad or a better text editor, at least in Windows 10, because formatting is odd with notepad.

Same issue here. I've validated the game files 3 times, and it's still showing it as a beta.
