Yay for the latest update!

Sadly, it has made my game unplayable. (BOO!)

After installing the update (and restarting the app, and shutting down and restarting my iPhone) Fallout Shelter will run for about 10 seconds, then lock for about 3 seconds, then crash.

No amount of restarting the game or my phone has helped to resolve this issue.

Any tips or thoughts... suggestions?

Strange, this new update fixed 99% of the problems that I was having so my 2 Vaults now run almost flawlessly. Have you tried backing your saves up to the Cloud then deleting and reinstalling the App?

Same issue, game on iOS 9.2.1 continually crashes. Will try to perform a clean install and edit post with results.


Update: Did a clean reinstall of the game, same result, continually crashes about 10 to 15 seconds into game.

Same with me. Sunk a good amount of money into the game, losing my progress would be extremely disappointing. I tried it on my iPad 4 which is where I usually play it and when it crashed I thought to myself "okay, I guess this extra content finally pushed my not-so-new tablet over the limit (since it was already laggy for a long time before updating), I'd have to retreat to my iPhone 5s - smaller screen, but at least faster". To my horror the same thing was happening to my phone as well. Attempts to fix this such as reinstalling the app and hard-reseting my phone were unsuccessful.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, both of my devices run on the currently latest iOS 9.2.1

Tried backing up to iCloud, deleting, restarting my iPhone, re-installing the game, loading from the cloud... still lock/crashes after 10 seconds of gameplay.

Running iOS 9.2.1 with about 30GB of available storage space on my phone.

Indeed, BOO! While I have an Android version, there seems to be no topic about it in the android section. So its not isolated to iOS! I start up the game and it crashes before I ever see the vault. It worked perfectly before. I was really excited about this, and then they screw it up again of course.

Tried rebooting, reinstalling, and even starting a new vault. It all works equally well; resulting in a crash.

Had to register here to report the crash. Been playing for awhile now without any issue until the 1.4 update today.
