I just destroyed the Prydwen, but I did it on total sneak, so I didn't kill Maxson personally. (though I sort of wish I had, I figured killing him would send the whole ship after me and those 5-7 stealth boys I used would be all for naught)!

But now I'm wondering if he (or one of his guards) has a sweet weapon on him that I should have looted.

Or perhaps I can find his body in the wreckage??

You have a 45 second window to loot him before it crashes on him and he's lost forever. It's a legendary gatling laser.

Why would he need a gun?

I heard he killed a deathclaw with a plastic spoon.

Depending on who you destroy the Prydwen for you'll have a better opportunity to take both his Gatling laser and his coat. I think you get more opportunity to grab it if you destroy it for the Railroad if you start shooting people before planting the bombs. The coursers will end up teleporting you out of there.

His gun is arguably the best heavy weapon in the game for general use.

It wasn't sweet enough to beat my Gauss rifle. His coat looks nice on me, though, with my newsboy cap and my aviator shades.


(Man, I wish I could put BW on that coat.)
