So one question here. Why don't supply lines allow you to share stored items as well as materials? Like if I were to build a generator at one settlement and store it, why can't I then use it at another?

Also it would be a lot easier to merge the containers of linked settlements so that you can access the items anywhere, but I understand the idea of limiting that.
