is he wanting to do the castle mission? i always found in my games as soon as he brings that up he becomes unassignable, unmovable and uncompanionable

I am not in the Minutemen..

hmm maybe he runs that script regardless, just if you have said no to minute men he might just not voice it? ive never said no to him in all the characters ive run and ive always had problems with him after getting a few settlements

you might have to have him as companion then go to where you want him and dismiss him there?
