Typo or hidden secret?

I updated the official Wiki with this the other day but I still can't figure out if it's just something the devs missed or if it's part of some hidden quest or secret. With Bethesda games you never know!

In Vault 111, when you look at the list of the pod occupants, it shows pod C3 occupied by a "Mr. Callahan". If you look into the pod, you will see that the person inside definitely appears to be male. However, on the Overseer's terminal it talks about how at one point pod C3 began to malfunction: the occupant had heart palpitations and it starting thawing "her" out. If Mr. Callahan is the person in Pod C3, then why does that terminal make reference to a female occupant? It also never states what the final outcome of this malfunction was: there is one empty pod and it would be natural to assume that is the pod that broke down and the person died as a result. However, that is Pod C1, not Pod C3. I would love for someone to confirm if this is just a mistake or a hidden clue on part of the designers.

Typo in the terminal, possibly in-universe typo. You can interact with Mr. Callahan before going into the freeze, and he enters pod C3 - you can see his corpse inside the pod too. The empty pod, we never saw anyone entering it when we went in.

Aren't they both part of the sanctuary inhabitant ghoul attack random encounter?

If I remember right, there's a note somewhere in 111 stating that one of the intended occupants never made it into the vault, much to the relief of the Overseer.

On his terminal, though, he says everyone made it "including the family that waited until the last minute" (our SS's family)

I think the one the Overseer is glad didn't make it was a staff member. Or was that Vault 81?

It was a staff member. Nordhagen. I only remember that because it's the same name as Nordhagen Beach.

A few other peculiarities of the vault. The pods we see are labeled C1 thru C14 yet the computers break them up into C and B groups. Where's Group A? Also the terminal says that they got all Sanctuary Hills residents plus some from Concord. There's 14 houses in Sanctuary alone, and it's safe to say those with the same last names lived in the same houses. No other children except your own?

It appears there may be more than one level to the vault judging by what the safety sign says in the elevator.
