Fix coming to Xbox One for unlocking ballistic weave?

Is there a fix coming to the Xbox One for unlocking Ballistic Weave from the Railroad?

I've seem many people say they are having the same problem that I am.

Everytime I go to the Railroad HQ, Drummer Boy runs up to me and tells me Tom wants to talk to me about the cache I recovered for them. Tom is then supposed to tell me about ballistic weave and start selling items with it on there as well. This obviously doesn't happen.

I've completed the game with the Railroad, have done about 1 million radiant quests for them and still nothing. Tinker Tom is stuck in a speech loop everytime I talk to him. He says the same thing everytime, nothing about the Weave.

No I can't craft anything at an armor workbench

No Tom doesn't sell anything with ballistic weave on it.

So, my question is the same as the top. Is this going to be fixed in the next patch? Is this even a known issue? Plenty of peope I've spoken to on other forums have said they have the problem as well.

At this point, the amount of emails, tweets and facebook posts I've made without any response is starting to make me go insane. All I want is a response. Even if it isn't being fixed or can't be fixed, I don't care. Just please, for the love of god, acknowledge my request and question. Thank you.

Well http://www.vg247.com/2016/02/29/fallout-4-1-4-patch-now-live-on-steam-no-console-eta/ i don't believe has anything mentioned for Ballistic Weave. Any chance you can show images of toms inventory or go to a workbench and check to see if you can't do it with Army Fatigues? Sometimes tom doesn't say this but you still end up having the ability.

that's a bummer man, yeah it was real non-obvious when it happened for me, Tom just said something like and "check out this killer balllistic weave", I think it was after the second cache quest I completed (I completed a MILA at the same time as well). Anyway you probably know this stuff all ready and your game is just bugged. I feel your pain man, I haven't been able to use Preston Garvey since early stages of game. Hope they have a retro patch for that in 1.4!

Edit: just checked the list above and looks like they don't, oh well, he's such an annoying goody-two-shoes anyway, forget about it.. Maybe on my survival play through!

Apparently it is a known bug. Obviously doesn't happen to everyone. I have done it twice, and didn't have any problems.

Scroll to the bottom in the bugs section...

edit: load previous save before the bug occured?

Yeah, total bummer. I'm on Xbox One and have never had a problem with the weave -- even got it last time after doing only a single DIA cache run and no MILAs. So strange. I get freezes and crashes pretty often, though, or so it seems to me.

yeah its a known bug, its happened to me at least once, usually it works, it really does svck when it happens, tom doesn't initiate the dialogue, the last few times its worked for me and i don't talk to tinker tom until i do the quest for pam and after the first stash quest when you go back tom comments on the stash and it works, at least for me when i did that, but yeah its a bug.

Yeah, strange.

I have an associates degree in computer science (long time ago) and have done my share of computer programming (FORTAN/COBOL/PASCAL/C). It is my recollection that bugs, if present, would always cause a problem when you got to that point in the code. If there was a bug, the process failed.

Now with these modern complex games, it seems like bugs that exist in the code may or may not rear their ugly heads. If you are lucky you miss the bug? Doesn't sound very computer science-y to me!

But that is the way they seem to work. Even the bug descriptions use words like "may" or "might". Frustrating for the person who has to endure them.
