I don't know if this is related, but I cannot seem to mark a forum as 'read' at this time.

Today, about every third time I try to post a reply to a thread I get some weird screen saying gamesas is checking my browser. There's a link to some DDOS address....

Now, I have full AV and malware protection enabled. I don't post a lot of replies in a big rush. So WHAT in the hell is this? Why it's seriously annoying: if I'm in the middle of posting a reply, my reply gets "lost" when this "intervention" happens.... So now I have to copypasta to external file in order not to lose what I wanted to post....

This just started happening this evening - since probably around 4pm MST.

I have no idea, I got that last night and a couple of times today too. It just now happened again. It seems to do it to me when it won't save the post I make, and I try to reload the page.

EDIT: I wonder if it has anything to do with the work they are doing to get ready for the new forum site?

I'm seriously annoyed.

Its a DDOS protection subroutine for the server which hosts the forums. Its making sure YOU aren't trying to overload the server. It shouldn't be as active as it is recently but for some reason it is. Maybe there is a lot more activity on the server (users and modifications by administrators). The connection is being reset so that's why your post is being lost.

Might it have something to do with that spam attack last week?

Um. I haven't posted a whole lot of anything very fast ever. This is just stupid. I'm a very long time poster here and I very much resent this. ESPECIALLY that I lose what I'm trying to post because this "intervention" wipes the post content.

Same here. I've already gotten to the point where I copy if it doesn't post right away, then paste when I can finally get back in.

Its not due to something you have done (at least not at present). I am getting them too. The system is currently being very sensitive.

Don't take it personally. It should clear up soon.

edit: I definitely have noticed the forum is responding slowly. The server may be experiencing high traffic (possibly due to an attack).

this one gets the White screen of Browser death every time this one cleans her Browser (Fire F..)

I'm also using FF Sah.... in fact, I just got a new esr version update around 6 pm yesterday. But I don't wipe cookies - well, I do wipe the Flash sort.... hmmm. And I did notice yesterday that the Flash ones weren't being reported when I'd close the browser here at the Skyrim forum. But I was allowing BP to keep gamesas ones in protected folders anyway.... so I don't know.

It's not sneaky , it's careful. I scan with Malwarebytes and Webroot twice a day as well as making use of virustotal Website.

I can open them only if logged in. I thought this a new feature ?

I've been having an issue for a couple months now where I can't access my profile or send PMs to the mod or anyone for that matter. Initially, I couldn't post at all, which was weird, because I've never gotten into trouble here at all lol. So I contacted the forum administrator which linked me to the administrator for the Zenimax forums, and they wouldn't help me. Somehow, I got my posting privileges back, but I still can't access my profile or PM the mods.

Could someone just let a mod know for me? Because I can't PM, and this thread seems to be somewhat related -- forum problems and such.

Happens to me too. But you don't lose your progress or post. Just go back two pages. Voila. Now just hit reply again.

I've seen the Cloudflare DDoS protection screen today, and i couldn't log in on the mobile version.

Yeah I've been getting the cloudflare thing for days.
