a foreign hack on skyrim the nexus NMM

Post » Thu Mar 10, 2016 9:48 pm

i knew that would happen, but i tryed it now on another product, with the very same result.

actually i only start, play and it will crash.

When has it started?

With the download of an update of the NexusModManager.

Yes, i have uninstalled it by instructions of the developers. And no, the issue has not been treaten.

Has it happened before?

Yes. When i was playing a onlinegame at Trion Worlds.

How has it been disabled?

by leaving Trion Worlds and uninstalling all and any single currently installed Game on my PC that utilizes a online connection somehow.

And now has it returned?

Yes.

What is it exactly?

Normal experience with operating anything until it appears. A crash of the Motherboard, with the BIOS

posting a message about energy complications/surges.

And before the question comes up, yes, i tryed return to a former game. It will crash again, after a short period of operation.

Anybody?

there is times i enjoy this song http://www.moddb.com/members/joshua-brisco/videos/mercenaries-2-song-oh-no-you-didnt/#5760992

Why do you think it is a hack? Sounds odd to me.

Computer (motherboard) closing and BIOS message of power surges, usually means one of faulty PSU, a short somewhere or crappy wiring from the socket in the wall.

If it only happens with certain games, it may be that those games stress your hardware more, and something is over-powered or under-powered. Which leaves a faulty PSU or an inadequate PSU for the hardware you have.

Could you post some spec's of your hardware?

i can tell how i come for that it is not a hardware issue.

i play that game called Defiance, a firstperson shooter online. For like two monthes without any problem. Then i meet other player that have odd names, like Allah, Nvidia and Asus. And that's when the crashes start. I leave the game to play something else Final Fantasy XIII and Fallout NV without any issues at first.

I return to Defiance, and all is good for the month, until the renamed now IchAllah returns and the crashes with it.

Now i was playing Skyrim for a long time, i have over 400hours on it, never experiencing any trouble. And suddenly, the first time ever i take a automated download for Nexus Mod Manager the same issue appears.

I tryed this out, it copies itself over and seemingly infects anything that either utilizes Graphics beyond a flash plugin container or a online conection.

would worm be a right description?

EDIT: for my Hardware, AMD FX 6300, PNY NVidia GT 730, ASUS M5A78L-MUSB3, *GB RAM*

i am operating under Windows 10x64

all drivers uptodate, and use TuneUp Utilities and the closest AV provider i could propably find.

Point is, there is no gain for a person to plant malware that shuts your computer down. They want you to be online so they can steal info (credit card info, personal ID info, login info's and that sort) Shutting you down, earn them no money. Therefore, to me, malware or "hack" as you call it, is a tough buy for me :) I get that you have problems, but it is hard to find head and tails in what you are saying. A lot of people use Nexus Manager (I do as well) and if there was a bad code in it, it would have been found almost immediately since it operates under GNU which is open source and it wouldn't have been in circulation for long if at all.

Anyways, if you feel that malware might be the cause, I would urge you try one of the malware forums who offers free help in removing it. And if it isn't malware, they have a tech area where you can get further help. I can recommend WhatTheTech which have some good experts as well as some Microsoft MVP's in their ranks.

As for your hardware, I would need something more detailed than that. But you should try the site first, since if it malware, there is no point in trying to fix something which would just re-appear again. So, make sure it isn't malware is 1st priority.

I have to agree that it sounds more like a problem with your computer. Someone talking to your character in an MMO isn't going to infect you with malware. I've seen strange things happen to PCs that seemed to only happen in certain games that turned out to be PSU or memory issues. I've even seen cases of random crashes being caused by inconsistent power coming from the outlet in a user's house. You really can't rule out a hardware or external problem until you've done some troubleshooting. I know that it seems like you're observing a software or game-related pattern, but more often than not, patterns like the one you're describing are just a coincidence.

Definitely this. On my old computer I started getting BSOD's or just random crashes when I'd play Diablo 3, but I could play any other games just fine, nothing would ever happen. Eventually figured out it was a GPU issue, and since that computer was old(this was back when D3 first released mid 2012) I just build a new one instead of slapping a brand new GPU in with 6-7 year old parts that were probably about to fail.

Point is, like Softnerd and Ytrumz has said, it's much more likely your computer that's causing the issues, not a virus or malware, it's literally impossible to get malware just by talking to someone in an MMO. You have to either visit an already infected website and have zero protections on your computer, or download a file that contains it in an executable.

it is not that i want you to believe in me, it is only that you please stop insult and pester over me.

It is not a hardware issue. Why would a pirate poison foodsupplies? Now? what s your answer? goto where?

It is a enemy hack. I am looking for help. You are joining in enemy forces why?

Because you are cause or what else?

If you know that people, or maybe even if you are them. Stop it. I am sure you will not know i am saying what with with putting a complex like capital course. It still will process.
