Anyhoo... I have discovered a dead woolly mammoth embedded in a glacier due west of Saarthal. It's riddled with two giant dwarven ballista bolts and a number of dwarven arrows, which indicates it was shot up by some dwemer. That means it's been embedded there for about four millenia, give or take.
