Bethesda producers you're clever! (possible spoilers)

Post » Tue Mar 15, 2016 8:31 pm

I've realized a major connector between fallout 3 and fallout 4, only realizing this because the new dlc, the mechanist is a fallout 3 "superhero" who wants to protect Canterbury Commons, but in fallout 3 its optional to kill him also he's in his 40s in fallout 3, but he sounds young and ambitious in the trailer, maybe fallout 4 come before fallout 3, and maybe Shaun (as some believe) is not you're father in fallout 3 but YOU! The man of fallout 4 is you're father, and the romantic interest you pick in fallout 4 is you're mother, but once more in fallout 3 the point lookout dlc after you get sprayed by the mother punga, you see a skeleton labeled "mother" most of us might of thought what's the problem we never knew her face anyway, well now that you've chosen you're romantic interest, you get a face for that skeleton, but there's more, almost all the followers you get can be a romantic interest, many choices to choose, paths to follow, maybe only one leads to FALLOUT 3, who would be the be the best follower for a scientific route of the father in FALLOUT 3, we all know who, if you don't... play some more, and one way I know is, you're dad from fallout 3 can enter vaults by will, where do we see that happening FALLOUT 4. True the institute can open them but, they're always protected, and a valuable specimen like Shaun would be kept safe, not roaming miles from the Commonwealth, liberty prime primes not intact after FALLOUT 3, and at best they can only repair his sensors, the brotherhood is also broken up in the east there, but no outcasts in FALLOUT 4, so much to think about Bethesda's smart for this one.

Except McCready & Maxson - two characters from both games - are older in FO4 than in FO3. They've aged ten years, and are now advlts (one a mercenary, the other a Brotherhood elder). So, uh, Illuminati not confirmed.

fallout 4 is set 10 years after fallout 3. there are a number of people who were in 3 that are now in 4. in all cases they are older. if anything this mechanist is the kid from canturbury who idolized the mechanist and the antagonizer

um no

-fallout 4 is set 10 years after fallout 3

-the mechanist is a super villian from the silver shroud world, possibly unstoppables too. will be completely different character who has taken on the mantle of the mechanist from the silver shroud. same as in our world for example how many different actors have played say superman and the villians of that universe?

-james is the name of your dad in fallout 3

-your mother in FO3 name is catherine and the scene in point lookout is about her

-enlcave can definitely open vaults, and not all vaults are protected

-pipboys can open the vaults, james like all vault dwellers had one. also you could also knock and they can let you in.

-your character has been able to enter vaults at will in every single fallout game?

-theres no outcasts because once maxson took over he reconnected with them and they are all back in the BOS now

-nothing from 4 leads to fallout 3 as that has already happened

basically all the events of FO3 (were you were already 19) happened 10 years before the SS was ever released from the vault (FO4)

This is what i like to see in a forums, i just joined to see, and boom I'm not disappointed, gave a spoof theory by leaving out facts to watch some people debate, and I get a goofball and cold hard facts. Good debunking, but one thing I gotta say is yes the mechanist may be from the comic book of the silver shroud but in the FALLOUT 3 guide it calls both the antagonizer and the mechanist superheros from a miscellaneous quest only difference is the mechanist is a maniac superhero while the antagonizer is a lunatic superhero.

never read the guide, but yep the mechanist in FO3 was a trying to be a hero (flawed for sure) but the mechanist in the siver shroud comics is a villian

its shaping up that the mechanist in the DLC will be a villian

also id say the antagoniser was always a villian not a hero, she was "attacking" canterbury commons whereas the mechanist was "defending/protecting" it (both were just [censored] everyone off though lol)

Ok but in all seriousness, based on the fo3 guide there is a young boy who looked up to Scott "bean" wollinski aka the mechanist since he looked after the boy, in fo3 he's 15 so he'll be 25 now, and he read a lot of comics, ALOT! He also worked as a general assistant aka a handyman, so based on this the identity of the mechanist in fo4 should be Derek pacion of Canterbury Commons. There's the spoiler for ya.

Or what if the entire Fallout world is actually just a series of cautionary tales the government issued to people in 2077? Each "game" is actually the next installment of a mini-series made to show people what could happen on the event of a nuclear war and everything the player does in each game is broadcasted by millions of concerned people.

That is the most likely scenario. My only hope is to have a Silver Shroud related dialog options :)
