Who here wishes Blizzard would make Warcraft 4? Or at the very least, have remakes of all the old titles in the series, running on modern graphics and sounds?


Too bad. Blizzard is going to milk that WoW Cow until the day it dies, and from the look of things, the only way it'll die is by shooting itself. How does a cow shoot itself? I don't know, how does someone who calls themselves a writer justify having time travel be a crucial part of the main story to a franchise that originally started with zero time travel aspects.


But I have good news! Just because Blizzard is too stupid to realize "Hey, remaking these games will make us a lot of money and be good P.R for our cow," that doesn't mean there won't be a remake. As a matter of fact, a team of people are trying to remake Warcraft 3 as we speak, via Starcraft.

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/warcraft-armies-of-azeroth#/ is a ongoing mod project that, if it reaches its funding goals, will remake all of Warcraft 3 in Starcraft 2. From playable races to the maps that featured in the game, as well as the campaign, it will ALL be there. As you can see, a lot of work has gone into the project already, and it looks pretty great in its Alpha stage.


I know this forum has a lot of Warcraft fans here, so I figured you'd all be really interested in this project if you didn't already know about it. And I think it deserves more awareness too, because quite frankly, it seems much more ambitious and true to its concept than anything Blizzard has put out in years.


So what do you all think? If this project got the funding it deserves, and you could have Warcraft 3 HD in a handful of years, would you play the [censored] out of it? Because I know I would.
