Every time that I start up the game, I encounter a simple but frustrating problem. The game won't enable me to use the keyboard or mouse to choose the "New Game" icon. It begins with the normal "Press any button to start" thing. I'll tap a key or click the mouse and it will disappear, bringing me to the little green menu which gives you the options "New, Load, Settings, Crew, Quit". Not a single key will let me scroll up or down. If I press [ ` or ~] that is located under the escape key, It will open the console command and let me use the green arrow curser and execute commands. But it still won't let me choose anything off of the main menu. But yeah, if someone could help me out here that'd be great.

Are you able to click on the options, or at least mouse over them?
