Hey guys, i recently installed fallout 4 on my pc with Win 10 and i have encountred some problems with the audio

the first video and the animation of the Bethesda logo at the beggining of the game don't cause any problem, but when i reach the character creation the audio disappear.

Has anyone had this problem? and, if yes, how did you solve it?

Try this:

Right click the speaker icon in the bottom right on Windows, and press "Playback devices" then highlight your speakers, then click "properties" in the bottom right.

Head to the advanced tab and change the "default format" to 16bit 48000 Hz (DVD Quality)

----------

If that doesn't work, re-install the DirectX drivers

My Windows 10 audio cuts out a couple of times a week. Not just on Fallout 4. When it is gone - it is gone.

I fix it by going to Task manager -> Services and restart Windows Audio Endpoint Builder and Windows Audio.

Works every time for me - sure easier than reinstalling the Realtek audio drivers every time.

If Microsoft ever fixes Windows 10 - I will miss all the quirks.
