So if we can tame any creature out there, including raiders, isn't that in a way what we always wanted? We don't know yet what this " taming " will be like, and whether it will be forced slavery or genuine " partnership " but wouldn't this enable us to possibly have a raider faction that many people always wanted and not just settlers in raider outfits?

Doubtful. More likely they will end up traveling to a cage, where we can pit them against other animals.

Modding wise it has some potential. I am hoping to get in a system that if a raider wins 3 fights they are given their freedom, a name and a job.

I honestly find it amusing that you can "tame" Raiders... Kinda supports my idea that Raiders aren't human beings anymore if they can be treated like any wild animal, ha-ha.
