Love 1.4 patch Reloading !

Post » Fri Mar 18, 2016 5:08 am

Patch 1.4 addressed

weapons being reloaded automatically when switch between different weapons.

I love that !

I love seeing reloading animation so much, at lvl 195 I still invested 0 in fast reload perk. :P

Now I get to see more reloading animation + proper reloading plays more crucial role. (especially for future new survival mode)

Good fix !

Yes, I was really glad to see that guns don't automatically reload when switched anymore. It took me a few days to actually notice it because I was so used to not really paying attention to it previously. It took me a little while to get used to it.

This is awesome news. I now gotta reload my .44 commonly instead of rarely! (I switch between my pistol and my knife a lot, so rarely reload).

I've had the game since release and I just noticed the other day that guns would auto-reload when you swapped them. I always made sure to reload before I swapped weapons. Good fix indeed.

Is it the actual gun's dps or the explosive damage? I honestly wouldn't mind if they slightly buffed pipe weapons. I've been trying to do a Raider playthrough (which isn't easy as you can't be evil in this game) and I wanted to stick to pipe weapons (and a few other weapons I deemed "raidery" enough), but they're awful, even with higher leveled mods.

I think it`s because of explosive radius boost effect is fixed with new patch.

The explosive weapons were powerful before... but now they seem to kill things even faster...

Also I believe my missile launchers have significantly larger AoE compared to before... making them quite fun to use.

Now I got to try my Spray'n'Pray, cause this sounds fun while it lasts.

Well FO4 got a little less Borderlandsy. But Patch 1.3 was the King of Patches, it lets you decorate your settlements.

Will be pretty handy for reducing Fusion Core clutter from the Gatling Laser, too. I noticed they also updated the text of the last rank of Scrounger to describe what it actually does - now I just need to get into the habit of not reloading my gun after every single kill. >.>

It's a good change. Heh, with some weapons it was faster to reload by switching to another weapon and back than actually reloading the weapon.

Well, saying that I constantly mash that reload button so I always have a fresh clip, this isn't too much different for me. Still nice, though I can see some people crying foul at it because it makes the game "hard"
