Shhhhhhh
As a hillbilly I find this insulting, not all hillbillies are into incist you know, how dare you insult Appalachian Americans! The proper term for point look out enemies would be inbred hicks. Besides know your terminology better son, lookout point Maryland is coastal, not mountainous...
post limit locking is a bad thing, hope they never notice the number, cause then we have to make a second topic.
not american, and all those states up there are just so damn small, in fact im pretty sure half the states are smaller than some of our local council here in aus
I'd assume with the new forums and all, they're just letting it go.
Listen I'm very critical about new vegas vanilla being terrible, the story was just awful after benny and it was just a mess. But i totally agree the dlc's were some of the best I've ever seen even dead money got too much flak over the collars but it was pretty good because i was interested with christine being veronica's girlfriend and the nice plug of Laura Bailey voicing the her but supposed to be Vera Keys. I love Laura Bailey so i'm a bit biased there haha
But Veronica Belmont did a good job voicing her in old world blues too. All in all you're missing out not playing them.
Depends on what synths, are you saying Gen 1 and 2's? Maybe i could see this working and wouldn't mind that happening either but when I was thinking of synths i thought of the Gen 3's. But lets look at it this way, if the dlc doesn't give us this ability mods will
Battlepope, you can't judge a book by it's cover. You're making a MASSIVE mistake here by judging the dlc's worth by "looks"(your words by the way). Play the dlc's it's literally one of if not the best content in new vegas and I admitted it in my new vegas playthrough at the end that i love fallout 3 over new vegas vanilla but the dlc's overall quality in new vegas is just far better executed; The areas were interesting, the story added TONs of lore into the main story and further more connected everything near perfection. The dlc's make new vegas a better game and the Main Story does not.
Until you play the dlc's in new vegas you cannot talk about the dlc quality of fallout 4. You're missing out by not playing the dlc's and i'm one of the very vocal minorities who's attacked new vegas being lacking in the vanilla game so for me to praise it means something.
Yeah I was referring to the Gen-1's and 2's.
True enough. Heck there's mods already that sort of do it.
Well, Gen 1&2 synths aren't even considered robots by the game, instead they're classed as abominations. They're affected by Wasteland Whisperer instead of Robotics Expert (as if synths would use a RobCo operating system anyway).
Does anyone know if the robots we can craft will require realistic ammo and/or fuel to move around? What about putting enough ammo like machine gun ammo etc. into robot inventories to ensure they have a ready supply of bullets to protect your PC? Technically, you have to supply all your non Dogmeat followers with ammo (unless they're using their original vanilla weapon). Once they run out of bullets, then they're pretty much screwed. Since robots are the new followers, then shouldn't the same rules apply?
I was looking at several of the robot builds they showed in the new trailer. They took a floating, flamer fuel propellant version of Mr. Hand/Gusty and removed all but 2 arms. Then added some other weapon mod enhancements. But now that we have survival mode for the PC, will this realism extend to robots as well? Because it would make sense to have fuel dependent robots like tat modded flying robot (and other flying ones like the Eyebots) depend on flamer fuel or other energy cells. Which would require storage of a couple dozen flamer fuel in the robot inventory so they could move/fly around.
Same principle for the wheeled and walking robots. Would these require a steady supply of lubricants to keep their joints/rolling parts greased and from locking up/going stiff? What happens when rain, rad rain and inclement weather gets into the joints of these robots? Besides lack of limitations like ammo and fuel, surely weather should logically affect robot combat capability.
Couldn't find anything about this more challenging aspect of game play on the web. So posting here in case anyone seen otherwise.
How? Gen 3's sure but Gens 1's and 2's are literally machine with wires and such. This is a baffling suggestion by bethesda that needs to be addressed.
