Giving a Stimpack to robot companions

Does anyone suppose we'll have the ability to revive our robot companion with a Stimpack? Or d'you suppose we'll need to carry ouround a little stash of aluminum, circuitry, and copper?

Well, ED-E could benefit from Stimpacks, altho, I do think it is a bit far fetched :D

It will probably be like power armour, or nothing at all (e.g. they don't need repair)

You mean for new survival mode which leaves companions disabled until given stimpack? Now that's interesting question. Same for Nick V.

Yeah I would like to see it for the robots, since they're probably going to offer advantages over what vanilla robot companions did, and would make options like valentine even less desirable if you had to carry salvage with you. But I would kind of hate having my robot go down in combat and stimpack him to heal. That seems kind of cheap.

It would be better if you had to repair the robot with scrap metal and other junk. Or they could have it so that you couldn't repair or heal robots in battle. It looks like the robots are pretty powerful so it'd be ok for them not to be repairable or healable until the battle is over.
