Respawning Behemoths

Post » Fri Mar 18, 2016 9:54 am

Can anyone confirm the super mutant behemoths can respawn now?

I regularly pass near a strange area with cars piled like stonehenge, and today I killed a SMB lurking there. He has to be at least the second or third that I killed at that place, which is odd as I always thought they were one time spawns. Is anyone else getting respawns?

Never knew there was a respawn problem in the first place. There's a couple of places I drop by if I'm in the general area, and they all respawn, and always have. PC or console version?

PS4 version.

I thought there were just a few that didn't respawn and you had to find and kill them all for a trophy, as it was in Fallout 3.

Until now I've never had any respawn. Since 1.4 I've killed him there at least twice.

Now I'm starting to wonder if the trophy's going to pop just from killing copies of him lol :)

Hmmm, as far as I know, there is only one achievement, and that is called "...The Harder They Fall" (goal: Kill 5 Giant creatures) So that includes the Mirelurks queen as well. Both qualifies for the achievement.

Perhaps the respawning issue has been on consoles, because I haven't had problem regarding it. Or your game might have had a hiccup or such, dunno :)

The Super Duper Mart one is a good one to watch, Ghoulds, Raiders and a BOS patrol can all spawn there for a messy fight B)

Enough confirmations I'm satisfied this is no glitch and I'm not going mad. Thanks everyone :)

Yeah, Super Mutants Behemoths do in fact respawn. Unless it is a unique SMB like Swan.

Oh yea, they definitely re-spawn. I kill the one near the Super Duper Mart in Lexington on a regular basis for some nice loot! LOL

Yeah, the one in the Car-Henge near Walden Pond respawns, as does the one north of the Quincy ruins/NW of Jamaica Plain. I think I've only run into the one in Lexington Square once, when I went to the Super Duper Mart there. I was wondering what the power armored raider on the viaduct was doing lobbing mini nukes at me for, then I heard the roar of the behemoth.
