Drinkin' Buddy (Trouble Brewin' quest)

Post » Fri Mar 18, 2016 10:30 am

As Drinkin' Buddy is a little squishy,

I'm escorting him home.

How far have you escorted his ponderous metal carcass?

i can tell you, Egret Tours Marina was far enough... (!)

(and did he have to plod right through every super mutant camp??)

He can make his own way home. You don't really have to escort him. I sent him to Starlight Drive In. It took him quite a while, but he finally made it! LOL I think I waited like 2 days for that clunker with the bad jokes to arrive! :D

Yea, that's right. If you decide to keep him the quest won't complete. And the guy at the Rexford doesn't even ask about him. I headed there to see if I can tell him that I'm keeping Buddy, but no such dialogue option.

You can sell him later though. There is that option and complete the quest. The beer isn't all that good and you still get free beer, even if he's a the Rexford.

I don't care about the 'open quest log'.

I'm happy to have my brewing bot who's fun to be with... B)

Oh sweet waterfront bar! Haven't even been to that place on my current character. Well, I've discovered it, but haven't build a settlement there.

Yea, same here. Just wanted to complete the quest on my first one. My 3rd character is more mellow LOL (and wants cold beer! hehe)

Wait what? Can you trade him Nuka Cola and he turns it into Ice cold one?

Also, how many recipes have you all found? I found 3 so far, so I get 4 different named beer, but they all have the same stat LOL

It's not perfect, but Egret Tours Marina has a lot going for it.

There's good interior space.

You can even build a barge in the dock if you get the level 'just' over the water.

he's the life of the party, though, and you can refrigerate other drinks inside him and they become more powerful.

What jokes! lol

"Man walks into a bar.... ow"

I'm not sure if he adds to the resident cap on settlements...
