It seems to me that after the last patch, 1.4, that settlement attacks come in pairs. I'll get a notification of an attack, respond, and within 24 hours I'll get another notification of an attack. After the second attack, it will be days until I get another. This has happened 3 times in a row. Also, with these attacks, they always start outside of the boundaries of the settlement, rather that spawning within. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but this seems like a new pattern in the attacks. Has anyone else noticed this type of occurrence?

Yup, noticed this too, also the attacks are coming from multiple directions and an increase in enemy numbers.

I haven't noticed this at all. I'm still only getting one attack at a time. They're quite rare too. I've been on the patch since the PC beta ... are you guys on console? Might be a bug.

The attacks more often yes, 3 times during 3 days in a row. They still spawns inside the settlement area or very close. When I fasttravel, I have about 8-15 secs to kill a few to get "thank you" from settlers. Usual I cannot kill anyone, but loot bodies blown up by all the missile turrets - and fix other things that are blown up as well. Loss of settlers - kia - none.

What I've noticed is that I'm getting successful "settlement defended" messages without at all going to the settlement. All those defenses I built finally seem to be doing their job. Now, if only Preston would stop giving me quests if I accidentally get too close to him.

Must have been changed. As of last patch you couldnt have more than one attack per 24 hrs; the same settlement cant be attacked more than once per week.

Last night I completed one defense and got another one soon after. After completing the second one, I returned to Red Rocket to log off for the night, and got three notifications of pending attacks when I arrived. Gonna be busy when I go back later today.
