Settlements and building.

Yeah, it kills me that there are brooms everywhere and I've apparently forgotten how they work. But not being able to put a bed where I want or a workstation because there's a small dirt pile in the way really bugs the crap out of me. I know there's a mod to clean things up, but I'm just not using those yet. But we shouldn't need a mod to do something so basic anyway.

"What's funny is, we went away from Horse Armor, and the rest of the industry has gone toward Horse Armor." oh god

And yeah, settlements are a really fantastic addition to the Bethesda gameplay. My dream is that they'll translate it to Elder Scrolls in a sense where you're buying estates and homesteads and forming mines or farms with workers, instead of villages with settlers.

I think, Wasteland Workshop will add the most settlement stuff, but all of the other DLCs will add at least a few decorations and other things we can build.

Thinking about it, that would be a great way to implement this feature in an Elder Scrolls context. Perhaps completing misc. objectives could unlock new things for your places? Say, you help a farmer find his lost dog, he teaches you a more space efficient way of planting your crops. I think that would be good.

Well I am surprised that they were surprised about the popularity of the building element of the game. Thinking of Minecraft and how massively successful that was - it's clear people like building stuff.
